One Piece Rare Cards

What R means

Rare is the middle tier of the One Piece Card Game rarity ladder, above Uncommon and below Super Rare. Rares carry the set's solid role-player cards: removal, searchers and the mid-cost Characters most decks are built out of. They are cheap enough that a competitive deck can run four copies without the price mattering much.

Rares are printed in standard boosters and appear widely in starter decks, so a heavily played Rare can still be worth more than a Super Rare from the same set purely on demand.
