One Piece Promo Cards

What P means

Promo covers cards given out outside the normal booster-pack channel: pre-release and tournament participation prizes, championship prizing, event giveaways, magazine inserts and product bundles. A promo is frequently a new-art printing of a card that already exists in a set, though some promos are exclusive cards. Promo card numbers use a P- prefix rather than a set prefix.

Because promos are tied to specific events and print runs rather than to an ongoing booster product, their supply is fixed at the moment of distribution. That makes promo prices far more volatile than booster-set cards of the same nominal rarity.
